Equipment

  • 12" styrofoam cone
  • plastic wrap
  • 70-80 toothpicks

Ingredients

  • 70-80 donut holes
  • ¼ cup confectioner's sugar
  • 6 oz fresh raspberries
  • 4-5 sprigs fresh rosemary cut into 1-2" pieces

Instructions

  • Wrap the styrofoam cone in plastic wrap, ensuring that the entire cone is covered.
  • Insert one toothpick into the bottom of the cone, about ¾″ up from the base. Leave about half of the toothpick sticking out. Carefully push a donut hole onto the toothpick.
  • Insert another toothpick into the cone about ½" from the first donut hole, and push in another donut. Continue working around the cone, from the bottom up, until the whole cone is covered in donut holes.
  • Gently wedge raspberries into larger gaps so that the cone is not visible.  Push sprigs of fresh rosemary in between some of the donut holes for garnish as needed.
  • Sift confectioner's sugar over top of the entire tree so that it falls straight down to look like snow.
