How to Make a Donut Snowman on a Stick
These adorable donut snowman treats are so easy to make, so they’re perfect edible Christmas crafts for your kids (or students) to do! Here’s how to assemble the powdered donut snowmen:
- Push three mini powdered donuts onto each wooden skewer, making sure that the pointy end of the skewer goes through the top donut and sticks out about 1/2 inch on the top.
- Press the wide bottom of the Rolos onto the pointy end of the skewers to make the snowman hats, like this:
- Push the orange M&M’s into the middle of the top donut so that the candy sticks up to look like the snowman’s nose.
- Press two more colored M&M’s (not orange) into the center of the other two donuts to make the snowman buttons.
- Open the Fruit Roll-Ups and unroll them. Place the sheets of Fruit Roll-Ups on a cutting board, and cut each into four long strips.
- Wrap one Fruit Roll-Ups strip around each snowman’s neck to create a scarf.
- Press the mini chocolate chips, pointy side down, into the top donut to make the snowman eyes and mouth.
- Break each pretzel stick in half. Stick one pretzel half into each side of the middle powdered donut to make the snowman’s arms.
