What is the “What’s on Your Phone?” Game
I love this printable party game because you can play it year-round for any occasion! The What’s on Your Phone Game is super simple to explain and understand, and you can tweak it however you’d like to fit different audiences and events!
Basically, players can earn points based on different items they have in and on their phones, like certain apps, the type of phone they own (iPhone or other), a phone case, etc. The game cards are typically divided into sections with different point amounts allocated to the items in each section.
For example:
- 1 point for having a selfie on your phone
- 5 points for having the Instagram app
- 8 points for not owning a Samsung or iPhone
- 10 points for 10,000+ photos
Players add up their points at the end of the game, and the player with the most points at the end wins!

How to Play the What’s on Your Phone Game
It’s super simple to play the What’s on Your Phone game, and there’s very little prep work involved! Here’s how to play:
- Download and print the game cards – The printable game cards measure 5 x 7 each, and the PDF comes with two cards per page, so you can save ink and paper. I also like to print mine on card stock if the occasion is fancier (bridal or baby shower).
- Pass out game cards to participants – Make sure you have enough pens or pencils for each contestant!
- Have each person look at their phone and mark down what they have on the list – You can either play in timed rounds or just set an overall time limit for participants to complete the What’s On Your Phone Game.
- Ask each person to add up their points at the end – The best part of this is that every phone has a calculator!
- Have some door prizes handy! – It’s always a good idea to have some fun door prizes for the participants with the most points. Scented candles, lotions, or gift cards to Dunkin or Starbucks are just a few ideas.
