Can you feel it? Oh yes! Love is in the air, as we prepare for Valentine’s (or Galentine’s!) Day. I know a few people who aren’t that into Valentine’s – ‘it’s just an excuse to sell cards and over-priced dinners, blah blah’ – and I get it. But I actually really like Valentine’s Day.
Life is busy, and we all-too-often forget to take the time to show our appreciation for each other, to tell people how important they are, and how much we love them. That’s what Valentine’s is all about. Sure, I can get soppy and regale my husband with all the reasons I love him. But, for me, it’s not just about romantic love. It’s also the perfect time to share a snack and a chat with a friend, do something fun with the kids, or even find a new way to thank a teacher.
