What is a Roll and Draw Game?
So, what exactly is a roll and draw game, you ask? It’s as simple as it sounds!
Think of this Roll and Draw dice game as a printable version of the popular Cootie Bug game of your youth. Only instead of rolling the dice and picking out corresponding pieces to make your plastic cootie bug, you draw a specific part of a Spring-themed picture.
All you need is a dice, some crayons or markers, and of course, the free printable game sheet. Each player takes turns rolling the dice and then follows the instructions on the sheet to draw the corresponding part of the Easter egg, chick, or bunny.

How to Play the Easter Roll a Dice Drawing Game
Once you’ve got everything you need, it’s time to roll and draw! Here’s a step-by-step guide to get you started:
- Set Up: Spread out the game sheets on a flat surface, making sure each player has enough space to doodle to their heart’s content. Place the dice in the center of the table, within easy reach of all participants.
- Roll the Dice: Decide who goes first (you can rock-paper-scissors for it if you’re feeling fancy), and then take turns rolling the dice. The player with the highest roll gets to go first – it’s as simple as that!
- Draw and Doodle: Once it’s your turn, take a look at the number you rolled on the dice. Then, consult the game sheet to see which part of the Easter drawing corresponds to that number. Is it a squiggly Easter egg pattern? A pair of floppy bunny ears? Draw that part of the Easter drawing on your blank paper.
- Pass and Play: After you’ve finished drawing that part, pass the dice to the next player and watch as the Easter bunny, chick, or egg slowly comes together one roll at a time.
- Celebrate and Share: Once all players have rolled 5 times, the Easter drawings are complete. Step back and admire your cute artwork. Every player will have a different Easter picture!
