Need Halloween party food ideas to serve your ghoulish guests? This easy Halloween snack board features a delicious peanut butter dip decorated to look like a mummy! Fill your Halloween charcuterie board with your favorite kid-friendly dippers, like graham crackers, apple slices, and candy corn, and you’ve got the perfect spooky spread for your buffet table!

When Halloween rolls around each year, I love making spooky treats with my kids – whether it’s mummy Rice Krispies Treats for an after-school snack or eyeball meatball subs for a frightfully delicious dinner! Simple Halloween recipes are a fun way to make the holiday extra festive, and my family loves the little bit of extra detail when it comes to meal time.
And this year, I added another Halloween-themed idea to the menu – this Halloween snack board with an easy mummy peanut butter dip! I piled our board with all sorts of our favorite dippers to go with the marshmallow fluff and peanut butter dip, and we served the board as movie snacks for our Halloween movie night.

The peanut butter fluff dip is the perfect balance of creamy and light-as-air fluffy, similar to a peanut butter mousse, and it pairs perfectly with the apple slices and graham crackers. It’s the kind of snack that both kids and adults will love digging into at your Halloween party – or your spooky movie night on the couch!
Ingredients
The peanut butter fluff dip is easy to make with simple ingredients, and you probably already have most of the items on hand. Here’s what you need for the mummy peanut butter dip:

- creamy peanut butter – Using creamy will give you a better texture on your dip, and it’s much easier to mix with the hand beaters.
- marshmallow fluff – Adds great sweetness and fluffiness to your dip.
- cream cheese
- plain yogurt
- pumpkin pie spice and salt – The tiny bit of salt helps to balance out the sweetness of the marshmallow fluff. Pumpkin pie spice is optional, but we love it. You can substitute with cinnamon if you like.
- candy eyes – You will need two of the larger size of candy eyes made by Wilton. I found these at my local Walmart, but most grocery stores carry them during the Halloween season.
Dippers for Your Halloween Snack Board:
- apple slices – Apples and peanut butter are a classic combination. Use your favorite apple variety, and drizzle the slices with lemon juice so they don’t brown.
- chunks of banana
- pretzels – We used pretzel chips, which are perfect for dipping!
- graham crackers – Break into mini rectangles for the perfect dipping size.
- Halloween Oreo cookies
- Rice Krispies Treats – Make your favorite recipe and cut the cereal treats into small squares for dipping. You could even drizzle them with orange candy melts or top with Halloween sprinkles.
- vanilla wafers
- Bugles – Great for a sweet and salty combo.
How to Make the Mummy Peanut Butter Fluff Dip
I like to make the peanut butter dip first so that it can chill in the refrigerator while I’m prepping the snack board dippers. Just follow these steps for the dip:

- Use a hand mixer to cream together the softened cream cheese, marshmallow fluff, and plain yogurt. Mix for about 5-7 minutes until the mixture is thick and fluffy. Then remove about 1/3 from the bowl and set aside – this will be your mummy bandages.
- Add the peanut butter, pumpkin spice, and salt to the marshmallow fluff mixture. Mix together until well combined. Then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- While you wait, take out your reserved cream cheese fluff mixture. Add it to a piping bag with a flat tip. Refrigerate the piping bag for at least 2 hours as well.
- When ready to serve, add the peanut butter dip to your serving bowl. Place two large eyes in the top where you want them to go. Pipe diagonal stripes with the marshmallow fluff mixture, overlapping them a bit so they look like mummy bandages.
Assembling Your Halloween Snack Board
When it’s time to assemble your snack board, I recommend putting a small bowl (about the same size as your bowl for the peanut butter dip) in the very center of the board to act as a space filler. Then you can start piling up your snacks around it.

I like to include a good mix of sweet and salty dippers, and group them on the board so that the fruits are together. In the board photo above, I kept the apple slices and bananas next to each other so that they didn’t make the crunchier snacks soggy.
You can make your snack board as fancy as you like, but for a simple movie night at home, I just kept it quick and easy by piling up the graham cracker pieces, pretzel chips, etc. Feel free to perfectly fan out the crackers and cookies if you’re serving your Halloween snack board at a costume party.
And you can even finish the board by sticking some gummy worms or candy eyeballs in bare spots to use as fillers and to add extra color.
