As I’m typing this, a fresh batch of Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies is cooling about 10 feet away from me. I’m resisting the urge to jump up and scarf down 3 of them, especially considering they’re for my neighbors and I still have to take some photos that will probably never do them justice.
Truth be told, my Mom just helped me make them… and by “helped” I mean that she made them while I took photos and cleaned up behind her. These addictive easy peanut butter Hershey’s Kiss cookies are her recipe after all… her blue ribbon recipe.
So she took the lead.
But these yummy peanut butter cookies are so easy to make that even I could make them by myself… which is saying a lot, because I can’t cook… just ask my kids how often they have these easy snack plate dinners.
And my Mom’s sweet treats NEVER disappoint… See these Cherry Coconut Cookies and this Blue Ribbon Chocolate Sheet Cake.
So, trust me… you’ll want to make these cookies:
Ingredients for Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

- Hershey’s kisses
How to Make Peanut Butter Hershey’s Kiss Cookies (aka Peanut Butter Blossoms)
Whether you call them Peanut Butter Blossoms or Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies, these peanut butter-y, chocolate-y bites of Heaven are darn good.
And my Momma’s cookies are SO easy to make… which is a good thing, because I already want to make another batch… there’s no way I’m going to be able to save all of these for the neighbors!
Here’s how to make them:
1. Make the peanut butter cookie dough.
This cookie dough is so easy to make… and it’s super quick clean up because you don’t need to drag out your stand mixer. Just combine the peanut butter, sugar, vanilla, and egg in a mixing bowl, and stir until it’s combined.
Your dough should look like this:
This dough is also perfect for just making regular old peanut butter cookies also. Just roll the dough balls in the sugar (see the next step), and use a fork to make cross-hatch marks before baking.
2. Roll dough into balls, and roll the balls in sugar.
First, pinch off about 2 tablespoons of cookie dough and roll it into a ball in the palms of your hands. Then, roll the ball in a shallow bowl of granulated sugar to coat.
Then, just line up your peanut butter cookie dough balls on an un-greased cookie sheet like so:
3. Bake cookies at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
Bake your peanut butter cookies in a 350 degree oven for about 10-12 minutes, taking care not to overcook them. I baked mine for 10 minutes and they turned out perfectly!
4. Remove cookies from the oven and top each with a Hershey’s Kiss.
After you take your cookies out of the oven, allow them to cool for about 3-5 minutes, and then top with a Hershey’s Kiss. Press the Kiss down gently in the center of the cookie to help it “set”.
Then, all you have to do is try and resist eating the entire batch!
These Peanut Butter Kiss cookies are great to add to your homemade cookies neighbor gifts, or just make them because it’s Tuesday! And, yes, they taste as good as they look!
